Joseph F. Fitzgerald
Joseph F. Fitzgerald has over 20 years of experience representing physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice actions, defending general liability claims, and litigating insurance coverage matters. He has successfully represented a wide range of medical professionals, including physicians, dentists, nurses, and veterinarians.
Mr. Fitzgerald received his Bachelor’s Degree from St. John’s University in 1992, and his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 1995. He is admitted to the practice of law in New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. He is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the Federal Court of New Jersey, and to practice before United States Military Courts-Martial.
Mr. Fitzgerald is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps. His awards include the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Action Badge. He successfully prosecuted numerous courts-martial cases, advised commanders during combat operations, and was counsel to two major U.S. Army medical centers.
