Mr. Regan is a senior trial partner admitted in both New York and Vermont and handles an array of general liability, construction, professional malpractice, employment discrimination, D&O and EPL matters.
Prior to joining Bartlett, Mr. Regan has served as first-chair trial counsel to more than a dozen firms in his 25 years of practice and has tried more than 100 cases in federal and state courts in 9 different states.
Mr. Regan was appointed by a federal judge to serve as Special Counsel to a U.S. Trustee in a multi-jurisdictional fraud and breach of contract case. Mr. Regan was discharged with the responsibility of assembling a team of highly-skilled attorneys and forensic accountants to prosecute a complex litigation against the two largest waste management companies in the United States. The case was successfully settled before trial.
Mr. Regan was selected to serve as legal counsel to the Director of the Human Rights Division of the International Labor Office of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and he also served as a Field Agent for the National Labor Relations Board. As an Agent for the NLRB, he conducted investigations into alleged unfair labor practice charges, conducted union representation elections, and investigated other matters at the Director’s discretion.
Academically, Mr. Regan obtained a Master’s Degree in Labor Relations on a full academic scholarship from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, studied international law at Moscow State University in Moscow (Russia), and received an executive MBA from Boston University. In service to the community, Mr. Regan assisted in the creation of the Lead the Way Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to U.S. Army Rangers and their families, and he currently serves as the organization’s general counsel.
