Jeffrey S. Wolk
Jeffrey S. Wolk is Trial Counsel to the firm and has devoted most of his legal career in Medical Malpractice Defense ligation. He is experienced in multiple facets of litigation including product liability, Labor Law/construction defense, general liability and trial practice.
Mr. Wolk has served as trial counsel in the Paris Aviation disaster litigated in the Federal District Court in Los Angeles, California. He successfully defended the first HIV/AIDS blood bank transfusion case in the United States, Southern District Court. He has been privileged to represent major medical institutions; individual defendants; dialysis treatment centers, nursing homes, urgent care and ambulatory surgery centers
He has represented the gamut of medical specialists. He has participated in Alternative Dispute Resolution, and participated at Ground Rounds at major medical institutions, served as an instructor in trial practice and mediation at HOFSTRA University School of and New York University School of Law.
Mr. Wolk received his BA degree from the University of Miami in 1969. Thereafter he received his Juris Doctorate degree from St. Johns University School of Law in 1974. He was admitted to practice before the New York State Court and Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts and has defended cases in both State and Federal litigation.
Mr. Wolk has appeared before Professional Disciplinary Boards and has successfully defended in excess of 100 cases over his 40 year career.
